Dairy Queen Halloween 2026: Spellbound Menu Last Call

Dairy Queen Canada’s Spellbound Series ends on November 1, so Halloween weekend is your last chance to try the Bubble Brew DQ Sparkler and the Enchanted OREO Blizzard before they disappear. The Mystery Blizzard Buddies collectible plushies are also only available while supplies last, and the rare Golden Plushie could still be sitting unopened in a store near you.

What Is on the Spellbound Menu

The Spellbound Series is Dairy Queen’s first Halloween-themed menu, launched in Canada on September 28. It includes two limited-time items, both confirmed available at participating Canadian locations:

• Bubble Brew DQ Sparkler: a blood orange lemonade-inspired sparkling drink topped with cold foam. Stirring it creates a bubbling, foaming effect, which DQ calls “activating the magic.”
• Enchanted OREO Blizzard Treat: OREO cookie pieces and ube blended with DQ soft serve, finished with a purple shimmer swirl.

Both items are limited-time only and leave the menu after November 1. For background on the flavours, see our Blizzard menu guide.

How Much Do Spellbound Items Cost?

DQ Canada has not published national prices for the Spellbound items, and franchise owners set their own menu prices, so expect some variation between stores. The Blizzard Buddies price is the one fixed figure: $6 per plushie as an add-on to any purchase at participating Canadian locations. For the Bubble Brew Sparkler and the Enchanted OREO Blizzard, check your store’s menu in the DQ app before you go. App-only coupons can also take the edge off a final Spellbound run.

Mystery Blizzard Buddies: Last Chance Too

The Mystery Blizzard Buddies are $6 add-on plushie keychains sold in sealed mystery packaging at participating Canadian stores. There are five characters to collect: Flip, Blizabeth, Blenda, Brrrnie, and the rare Goldie. Finding a Golden Plushie gives you a chance to win free DQ for a year, awarded as DQ gift cards, with 10 winners in Canada.

Unlike the food items, the Buddies are sold while supplies last, not until a fixed date. Popular stores may sell out before November 1, so if you want one, do not wait until the weekend.

What Comes After November 1

Once the Spellbound Series ends, DQ Canada typically pivots to its holiday menu. No official 2026 holiday announcement has been made yet. In past years, the December Blizzard of the Month has been the Candy Cane Chill Blizzard, which has its own official page on DQ Canada’s menu site, so a peppermint return is the safest bet. Watch our deals page for the announcement.

One Canada-versus-US note: American coverage of the Spellbound launch mentioned a Ghost Pepper Sauce for chicken strips, but DQ Canada’s official announcements did not include it, so do not expect to find it at Canadian stores.

How to Make the Most of the Final Days

Use the DQ app before you go. Rewards members can play the Spellbound Secret Lair daily memory game for chances at gift cards and bonus points, and app-only coupons can cut the cost of your last Spellbound run. Going with friends? Everyone can try a different item and split the tasting, which is the cheapest way to try both the Sparkler and the Enchanted OREO Blizzard in one visit. If you are planning a holiday visit later, check DQ holiday hours since individual stores set their own schedules.
