Dairy Queen Blizzard of the Month: October 2026 (Canada)

The October 2026 Blizzard of the Month in Canada is the Enchanted OREO Blizzard Treat, a Halloween twist on the classic OREO Blizzard made with OREO cookie pieces, sweet purple ube flavouring, and a shimmering swirl, served at participating DQ Canada locations through the Spellbound season. If you have been watching the Dairy Queen Blizzard menu for what is new, this is the one to try this month.

DQ Canada lists the Enchanted OREO Blizzard on its official menu pages, and franchise menus confirm it as the featured October Blizzard. It is part of the Spellbound Series that launched September 28 and runs through November 1, alongside the Bubble Brew DQ Sparkler drink and the Mystery Blizzard Buddies collectibles.

What Is the October 2026 Blizzard of the Month?

October’s featured Blizzard takes the OREO Cookie Blizzard Canadians already love and gives it a purple Halloween makeover. According to DQ Canada’s official description, OREO pieces meet the subtly sweet flavour of ube in DQ’s world famous soft serve, finished with an enchanting shimmer swirl that gives the treat its spellbinding look.

Ube is a purple yam popular in Filipino desserts, and its sweet, vanilla like flavour pairs naturally with chocolate cookies. The result is a treat that looks dramatic on camera but tastes familiar: cookies and cream with a sweet twist. At around 470 calories for the featured size, it sits in the middle of the Blizzard range.

How Much Does the Enchanted OREO Blizzard Cost in Canada?

Blizzard prices vary by store across Canada, but recent Canadian menu listings put the Enchanted OREO Blizzard at around CA$7.49 for a regular serving. On our DQ Canada Blizzard menu, treats typically run from about CA$5.49 for a Mini up to around CA$9.39 for a Large, depending on flavour and location.

Royal versions with a fudge or candy centre cost a little more. The Enchanted OREO Blizzard is a standard recipe, so expect it to price in line with other featured Blizzards at your local store.

How Long Is It Available?

The Enchanted OREO Blizzard arrived with the Spellbound Series on September 28, 2026, and DQ Canada’s Halloween collection runs through November 1. That means you have until the end of the month to grab one, since the Spellbound menu ends November 1.

After November 1, DQ Canada typically pivots to its winter and holiday lineup. Limited time Blizzards almost never return on a fixed schedule, so if the ube flavour sounds good to you, do not wait for the last week. The DQ deals page is worth checking before you go, since DQ Rewards members regularly get Blizzard offers through the app.

What Replaced Last Month’s Blizzard?

September 2026’s Blizzard of the Month was the Brown Sugar Cookie Dough Blizzard, made with soft brown sugar cookie dough pieces and brown sugar topping blended into vanilla soft serve. August featured the Caramel Apple Cheesecake Blizzard. The October switch to Enchanted OREO keeps the fall flavour theme going while adding the Halloween angle.

If you missed the Brown Sugar Cookie Dough Blizzard, it is no longer listed as the featured treat, but some locations may still have the ingredients on hand. It never hurts to ask.
